Vice President - Bottling Products

William H. Owen received the B.S., and M.S. degrees in electrical engineering from the University of Wisconsin, Madison, in 1972 and 1973, respectively, with a specialty in integrated circuit engineering. He joined Intel Corporation in 1973 where he worked in PMOS, NMOS, and CMOS process control. He then worked in Technology Development on scaled NMOS technology development and high speed SRAM design. In 1978, he co-founded Xicor Inc. where he designed the industry's first single supply nonvolatile memory and defined the standard feature set for single supply parallel and serial EEPROMs.

As Vice President of Technology Development and Intellectual Properties he was responsible for developing several generations of Xicor thick oxide nonvolatile technologies. From 2002 to 2004, he developed Xicor’s floating gate analog technology and high performance voltage reference products. In 2005, he co-founded Precision Linear Systems which developed and manufactured high accuracy, low cost temperature sensor systems. In 2012, he joined Angle Systems to develop a label positioning system for in-line labelers. He is a registered professional engineer and has more than 30 issued patents.
